Sunday morning driving to St David’s Bealiba at 7.30am to take the 8am Eucharist I had the radio on, catching up on a bit of the Royal Wedding news. I hadn’t watched it the night before.
Annabelle Crabb and the presenter were talking about the highlights. One of the best moments would have had to have been the chalice they both agreed. Nuptial Mass I thought. How delightful! I was imagining the young couple's awe at that holy moment. “Just stunning.” Annabelle said.
Gold with encrusted with precious stones I wondered?
“And he’s only 19???”
It finally dawned on me they were saying Cellist not Chalice. I am still laughing at myself.
